THE MOST PREVALENT and POPULAR MYTH ABOUT THE B.B.A PROGRAMME

“The most people believe certain facts to an extent that it becomes the facts’ attribute which it is not. And with B.B.A (Bachelor in Business Administration) the myth attached is FEWER OPTIONS after the course” says Dr. Nimesh Singh, Dean Academics, TIMS, one of the popular BBA college in Lucknow.

You can be what you want, there is not stopping you; there is nothing such as ONLY ONE option i.e. MBA” says Mr. Singh, slightly amused. He adds “you can be anything you may become a charted accountant; while pursuing the degree you can get one or more certifications like CIMA, ACCA; you may pursue PGDM; Get some job experience; you can start own business; you can be blogger or traveler; write IBPS, Bank PO exams to Work in a bank; you can join the Indian Armed Forces to serve mother India; you can join a law school to get a LLB degree; become a stock market investor with short term courses NCCMP, NCFM; you can learn new languages and become an interpreter or translator; the degree allows you to write exams for civil services and become an IAS, IFS, IPS.. Etc” the list is endless.

Yes. It is the most prevalent myth that B.B.A limits your options to a great extent. However it may restrict your options nonetheless too much option kills the action. The view was supported from the faculties all across the city among the MBA College in Lucknow that it is indeed becoming a myth from oblivion. An oblivious act can be made true by imparting the knowledge and making people aware of its surrounding whereas it is equally difficult to break a myth as it occupies your psyche as a truth.

HOWEVER THE TRUTH IS a BBA degree gets you the entry-level positions in the corporate and industry. The biggest advantage is that you’re provided with an opportunity for hitting the glass ceiling early. It gets you to the vantage point where you can see the working and functioning of the organizations conspicuously and decide for which trade to opt for during you MBA or PGDM.

Moreover, like PGDM there are many options available in B.B.A too for pursuing it with reference to a specific industry such as Foreign Trades, Financial Services and sales, Digital Marketing, Logistics Management and others.

The biggest U.S.P is, often, used against this course- its exclusivity. It is the course that sets you on the path of knowing the corporate industry from the outset and throughout do not looses the focus. Provide for conferences, exhibitions, guest lectures, motivational sessions and everything required to coach an individual on the line that it becomes a great manager in the future and be exclusive or expert.
